There are still a few simple, no-frills campsites to be found in the Czech Republic, bringing a spot of romance to your stay and the chance to light a fire by your tent and get out the guitar. It won’t cost you much either. But if you expect more comfort from your campsite of choice, you’ll find what you’re after in the Czech Republic too. These sites come equipped with modern sanitary facilities (showers with vestibules, family showers, changing rooms, sanitary facilities for disabled guests, well-equipped kitchens, washing machines, tumble dryers, or dishwashers). Some camps have a range of sporting activities for you to enjoy, as well as playgrounds for the kids. Some camps even put on entertainment programmes for children.
When choosing a campsite, you might like to find your way around by using the new star system, guaranteed by the Association of Campsites of the Czech Republic. A full list of campsites is available on the website or can be downloaded to your phone free of charge. And, of course, there’s the option of filtering campsites according to what you’re looking for (location, opening times, amenities).
What’s more, if you use the mobile application, you can find a campsite and get directions right to the front gate. And yet another plus is that you can save money at many campsites simply by showing the installed app on your phone!
